EDUCATION:

He began his Primary education at Central Primary School, Misau in 1974, moved to Dambam Primary School in 1975 and finally finished at Unguwar Borno Primary School, Bauchi, in 1980.

From 1980, he was at Government Secondary School, Gamawa where he sat for his SSCE in 1985 and emerged as the best graduating student of the school. He therefore, gained admission into Bauchi College of Arts and Science(BACAS)Bauchi. Dr. Musa was at University of Maiduguri in 1988 where he graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1994. He also bagged Masters in Public Health from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2007. In addition, he obtained a Diploma in Medical Sciences each from Royal College of Physician in the Republic of Ireland, Imperial College, University of London and the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.

CAREER IN MEDICAL PRACTICE AND CIVIL SERVICE

Married with 6 children, Dr. Musa had travelled far and wide like a globe trotter. His globetrotting however, had always been in pursuit of both academic and professional excellence. He had visited the United Kingdom, United State of America, United Arabs Emirate, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Republic of Ireland, France, Ghana, Niger Republic, The Gambia, Jamaica, Portugal, South Africa, Mauritius and Egypt, among others.

Dr. Musa was assasinated on Saturday 31st August 2013 by unknown gunmen at Yamai village of Dambam Local Government in Bauchi State. He was buried on Sunday 1st September, 2013 according to Islamic rites.
